We cooked (grilled) this past week, but we didn't try anything new and exciting. I took some photos anyway, so here's what we've been up to in the kitchen (and on the deck):
Let's start with dessert! I don't usually enjoy eating ice cream during colder months, so we decided to make the
Mexican Chocolate Ice Cream again, before it gets too chilly. It's just as good as I remember -- this might be my favorite ice cream:

SP decided that with football season starting soon, he needed some beer:

I prefer wine, and we had some
Coppola Malbec, pictured here with the homemade balsamic dressing:

We used the rotisserie on the grill to cook a chicken. The usual seasonings: salt, pepper, olive oil, and lemon. The skin was really tasty (I never eat skin, but for some reason, this time I couldn't stop picking off bits of it while it cooled):

Grilled lamb chops, the usual marinade (rosemary, red wine, lemon, mustard). Mine were a bit more well done than usual, but still tasty:

Grilled
Sunflower Whole Wheat bread from
Loafers - very tasty bread:

Grilled CSA eggplant & peppers:

Chopped CSA heirloom tomatoes with fresh basil and the homemade balsamic vinaigrette - very juicy tomatoes, look at all that juice in the bottom of the bowl:

Steamed broccoli and roasted CSA potatoes & onions:
