CSA Week #32 - The Last One

Our last CSA box: Russian banana fingerling potatoes, Chinese cabbage, local honey, Gouda Gold cheese, carrot bunch, red cylinder beets (photographed in bag that was stapled shut; we gave all of them to SP's dad so we didn't open the bag), and apple cider (not pictured).

Thanks to Penns Corner for another terrific 32 weeks of CSA goodies. We're glad we joined in 2009 and we're looking forward to our third CSA year in 2011!

  1. If you need a way to use that cabbage, the stew recipe I featured yesterday is a pretty darn good way to do it. Otherwise, I love that the local honey still comes in a bear jar. It just adds a little something extra to the honey experience to have it squeezed from a bear's tummy.
