Cocoa Spritz. The recipe was in the December 2015 issue of Food Network Magazine. It doesn't take long to mix the dough and before long, SP was using the spritzer to press out cookies which I then decorated and baked.
These are... well, I'm undecided. They are crisper than I usually like, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm not sure I would use the optional cloves if we made these again. The clove flavor is a little too strong for me. SP, however, really likes the clove flavor. I might instead use cinnamon or leave out any additional spice flavor. I usually really like cocoa and spice together, but just cloves is a bit too much for me.
