Park Bruges

This post is a little late. OK, a lot late considering we were at Park Bruges in early July. So 3 months ago. It's still one of our favorite places but I was sad because my favorite entree, Sauteed Chicken Breast with onions, tomatoes, artichokes, mushrooms, herb risotto, marsala sauce, was no longer on the menu.
Fortunately, Classic Tarte Flambee (creme fraiche, caramelized onions, rosemary ham, chives, shaved cheese) was still on the menu. I love this flatbread.
So what did I get since my favorite dish is no longer offered? Chicken Milanese (lemon-basil panko breading, arugula, peaches, pancetta, goat cheese, red onion, heirloom tomatoes, honey bourbon vinaigrette). It was delicious. So much crunchy and flavorful breading. It made me miss the other chicken dish a bit less.
The apple tart wasn't a dessert option but this berry shortcake was. It was yummy. Lots of fresh berries and cream.

SP probably ate mussels, as usual, I don't remember. The point is, the food is still yummy, the service is still wonderful, the iced tea is still really good, and we still like it a lot. Even if I miss my chicken saute dish.
