- Almost lost the luggage with passports and medicines
- SP fell and hurt his knee and elbow
- The rental car got hit
- SP fell and badly bruised his tailbone
- The airline broke my wheelchair
- SP's cell phone died
- The washing machine died
- Our cleaning lady had to suddenly quit because her doctor told her she cannot work anymore
Sometimes adulting stinks. Sometimes I just want to crawl in bed, pull the covers over my head, and not come out for a few years.
What We're Eating This Week:
- Grilled chicken
- Ribs with BBQ Sauce
- Macaroni Salad
- Grilled zucchini
- Roasted cauliflower
- Sliced tomatoes
- We are all caught up on TV from vacation. The DVR doesn't look very empty because we decided to "ignore" Genius and Fargo until summer, but otherwise, we're caught up.
- We started watching Bloodline Season 3 on Netflix. It's a little slow going and I just want to slap some sense into some characters, but the acting is terrific. It ends after this season.
- The Americans season finale left me with so many questions! I like that some story lines wrapped up but I want to know so much more! Is Stan's girlfriend Russian? Will Martha adopt a Russian orphan and be happy? Will Philip and Elizabeth go back to Russia or stay and what will Henry do if they go back? And where was Oleg in the season finale? I'm excited for the final season next year.
- Animal Kingdom Season 2 started last night. I stuck with Season 1 even though at times I wanted to quit. We'll see how this season goes.
- Please, please let the team I despise lose Amazing Race. Ugh I can't stand that last week after I wrote how much I want the whiner gone, her team won that leg of the race.
- No Middle Name: The Complete Collected Jack Reacher Short Stories from Lee Child. I'm enjoying these short stories and they're making me really look forward to The Midnight Line in November.
- I'm still buried under a magazine pile. I read some, then more arrived, and it feels hopeless.
