La Maison Navarre

Back to vacation posts! After our walking tour of Portsmouth, we were hungry and thirsty so we decided to give La Maison Navarre a try. They have macarons and other treats plus salads, sandwiches, and crepes. You order at a counter and then take a seat and they bring your food when it's ready. We sipped a yummy iced tea and looked around while we waited for lunch.
Inside it's black and white and red inside and there are lots of tasty treats on display.
We both got the same crepe: Di Parma (Prosciutto/Arugula/Gruyère & Tomato). It was yummy, served with greens, and filling.
We also shared two macarons for dessert: coffee latte and salted caramel (if my memory is correct). Yummy.

This was a great place to relax and have a bite to eat before setting off on more walking & sight-seeing. The people were really friendly and helpful. I wish we had ended up having time to go back and try some of the other pastries and macarons. Next time we're in Portsmouth, we'd go back.
