Fresh Peach Cobbler

Peach season is almost over here. Maybe it is over. We didn't go to the farm market last weekend, so I'm not sure if they are still selling peaches or not. When we went 2 weekends ago, we bought a huge crate of local peaches. We made a peach pie. We ate them for breakfast. And when the pie was gone, we made cobbler. Specifically, Ina Garten's Fresh Peach Cobbler from Cooking for Jeffrey.
I loved the cinnamon topping and the biscuit topping. The peaches were delicious, too, but this was one of very, very few cobblers that actually has a tasty (to me) topping.
I think our filling was a little wetter than it should have been. but it was still delicious. This is definitely a make again recipe. It would be even tastier if we topped it with vanilla ice cream, but we didn't have any, didn't feel like making any, and honestly, the cobbler alone was enough of a dessert.

Recipe here.
